Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments and create individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances and therapeutic needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to individuals, families, and groups.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software to streamline documentation processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele that includes individuals and families who are facing barriers to accessing mental health services. You will work effectively with clients dealing with an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues, emphasizing a trauma-informed approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
