Overnight Desktop Support – TEKsystems Global Services LLC Location: New York, NY – Full Time Overview This contract role supports desktops for private practice clients, maintaining hardware/software inventory, installing and configuring devices, and ensuring network connectivity. Responsibilities Maintain detailed inventory of hardware and software at private practices. Assist computer users with installation of basic hardware/software and networking components. Image workstations and validate application functionality. Deploy workstation setups with proper cable management. Assist/lead site deployments for end‑user hardware roll‑outs. Image machines and provide Windows 11 upgrades. Qualifications & Skills 2–4 years of overall experience in desktop support. Proficiency with Windows 11, Office 365, imaging, active directory, and Citrix/VDI environments. Experience with ticketing systems and hardware troubleshooting. Excellent customer‑service, listening, questioning, and communication skills. Strong problem‑solving, logical thinking, and ability to absorb new technical concepts quickly. Ability to remain composed and effective under stressful conditions. Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Shift and Schedule Overnight: Sunday‑Thursday 12 PM (midnight) – 8 AM; 35‑hour work week. First 2–4 weeks of training on the day shift (Monday‑Friday 9 AM – 5 PM). Pay $24.00 – $25.00 per hour.
