OB/GYN Physician Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Arizona physician license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• Current DEA registration
• Ability to provide comprehensive OB/GYN coverage in a hospital environment
• Recent case logs and required credentialing documentation
• Completion of required Cerner training and orientation before the start date
• Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination status, consistent with applicable facility requirements

Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician Responsibilities

• Provide overnight and 24-hour beeper-call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology services
• Evaluate and manage obstetric and gynecologic patients in the hospital setting
• Attend and manage deliveries, with an anticipated volume of approximately 1–3 deliveries per shift
• Respond to callbacks and provide timely assessment and treatment
• Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, emergency, and other clinical teams
• Document patient care accurately in the Cerner electronic medical record
• Support continuity, quality, and safety across the OB/GYN service
