Industrial Service Technician

This job serves our Service Department by being a dependable member of our team. They are a hard worker that is not afraid to tackle tough jobs or work long hours when needed. II.General Requirements Knowledge of the bulk material conveying system is a plus. Able to assemble parts Mechanically inclined Organization is a must Maintain a clean work environment Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during assembly Must be able to read, write, complete time logs, complete job logs High School diploma or equivalent minimum requirement Maintain superior customer service relations General hours are 7 am to 4 pm M-F with a lunch Must Be Safety Minded Familiar with OSHA standards III.Specific responsibilities Forklift driver required, or willing to learn Welding is a plus (Stick welding), or willing to learn Some travel may be requested for this position. Our Service Team works all over the U.S., and this position will, on occasion, be requested to go on a job site. Driving locally to pick up or deliver items; may require pulling a trailer at times. We do many jobs during company shutdowns and may be requested to work weekends and holidays. Sundays and Holidays are currently paid at Double Time Rate Assembly- preparing work to be assembled, reviewing drawings, use of hand tools, power tools Overtime is required during busy times Load/Unload trucks of material Maintain Inventory, nuts/bolts/idlers/other components Prepare material for shipment Required to lift/push/pull at least 100 lbs. Ability to read blueprint/drawings a plus Attention to detailand ability to work with precision Able to use a computer May be asked to arrange for freight Shipping/Receiving IV.Length of service –Temp to Full Time V.Accountable to whom – Service Manager/Project Manager VI.What Imperial will do for the Employee Provide initial orientation to the team and the work assignments and ongoing training We currently provide 100% paid medical benefits; dental and vision benefits are also available.
