Description

• Assess patients of all ages - pediatric, adult, and geriatric - employing an array of standardized assessments and observational methodologies.
• Craft individualized treatment plans designed to address both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions concentrating on facets of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to construct harmonious care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond the clinical environment.
• Occasionally contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions to provide seamless care throughout the treatment journey.
• Document patient information accurately and punctually, adhering to all state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in continuous learning and collaboration with peers to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of hiring.
