Job Description

Buyer (Electronics & Components, Issuance) will manage procurement of electronic components and technically complex items, ensuring accurate requisition validation, supplier sourcing, and purchase order execution.

Key Responsibilities

Review and validate purchase requisitions for electronic components
Confirm technical specifications and required delivery timelines
Source and request quotations from qualified suppliers
Evaluate bids, pricing, and lead times for electronic parts
Coordinate with engineering to resolve technical questions
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms where applicable
Generate and issue purchase orders
Ensure accuracy of technical and commercial data in systems
Maintain compliance with procurement policies and controls

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

PO issuance lead time
Accuracy of component orders
SLA compliance
Issue resolution turnaround time

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably with electronics/components
Ability to read and understand technical specifications or BOMs
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Strong Excel skills
Supplier sourcing experience in electronics/components
