Private Equity Product Specialist

Responsibilities Develop and maintain a deep working knowledge of the firm’s funds, including portfolio composition, fund terms, track record drivers, and how performance translates into LP-facing narrative under different macro backdrops. Produce institutional-quality fundraising and investor materials — pitchbooks, DDQs, RFPs, AGM content, case studies, and bespoke follow-ups — with strong attention to detail and a high bar for design and storytelling. Build, update, and quality‑control quantitative analyses, track records, fund‑level and deal‑level performance attribution, and sensitivity work that supports fundraising and LP dialogues. Operate self‑sufficiently across the platform: pull and interpret information directly from financial statements, board decks, and underlying portfolio company data rather than routing every request through accounting or deal teams. Partner with senior leadership to prepare for LP meetings, AGMs, and roadshows; sit in on calls and meetings in a shadowing and support capacity from day one. Contribute to the evolution of the platform’s investor materials and content infrastructure as new products come to market. Qualifications Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience Background at a placement agent (private funds group) is an excellent fit. Investment banking, secondaries advisory, GP‑side IR/product, or fund‑of‑funds / consultant experience is also relevant. Strong working knowledge of the private equity fundraising cycle and the institutional LP community; literacy with private credit is a plus but not required. Exceptional analytical horsepower: comfort interrogating financial statements, building track‑record analyses, and constructing performance narratives from raw data. Best‑in‑class PowerPoint craftsmanship; design sense and the ability to translate complex concepts into clean, on‑brand investor materials. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the polish to interact with senior LPs and the precision required for institutional fundraising materials.
