This company designs and builds highly engineered RF, antenna, and thermal management hardware for mission-critical applications across space, airborne, and maritime domains - and is growing fast following a recent merger backed by a major private equity partner.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-mix, high-reliability environment and wants real ownership over quality execution on the shop floor.What You'll DoSupervise and mentor a team of quality inspectors across receiving, in-process, and final inspectionDrive AS9100 compliance and support customer-specific quality requirementsLead MRB, CAPA, and root cause / corrective action activitiesOversee First Article Inspection (FAI / AS9102) and non-conformance dispositioningPartner cross-functionally with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve defects and improve processesSupport internal audits, quality metrics/KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)What You'll Bring5+ years of quality experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturingPrior supervisory or team lead experience within a Quality functionStrong working knowledge of AS9100 and quality tools (SPC, FMEA, RCCA)Ability to read technical drawings and interpret GD&TComfortable with inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMM, optical comparators)U.S. Person status required (ITAR/EAR environment)Why ApplyJoin a rapidly scaling defense technology company with 200+ active programsGenuine influence over quality systems and shop-floor executionStrong compensation, benefits, and long-term growth potentialInterested?
