DSG is seeking an Office Manager in our Minot, ND location. In this full time, hourly position, work typically ranges between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As an Office Manager, you will provide support to the branch by performing a wide variety of administrative duties and be responsible for overall day to day office operations. A Typical Day in the Life of an Office Manager: Maintain responsibility for the overall success of our phone system through answering and directing calls in a courteous and professional manner while working to improve on-hold time, incoming ring time, and overall customer calling experience Manage customer, vendor, and other visitors’ experience to our branch including greeting customers/visitors, directing them to the appropriate person/area or responds to their inquiries Oversee planning and coordination of customer and employee events Assist with processing and organizing Vendor Rebates and Returns Balance cash drawer and prepare bank deposit and daily EDIT report Operate and maintain office equipment and supplies Create/Update spreadsheets and databases as requested by the branch manager Assist Operations Manager and Branch Manager on other administrative duties, such as managing special projects Assist in coordinating general maintenance and repair projects, office furniture, filing system, and manage some branch communications as needed Identify work procedures in a priority manner, prioritize workflow and communicate priorities effectively with associates Advise branch manager regarding customer related and/or branch procedural issues that may need to be addressed Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist associates in solving work problems Manage office access including opens and closes of the building and ensure security, cleanliness, and overall professional environment A Successful Office Manager Typically Has: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. At least 2-4 years’ experience in a general office setting. Outstanding interpersonal, customer service and communication skills across a variety of settings (in-person, phone, and email). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong attention to detail, paired with the ability to multi-task.
