Guys GMC Trucks is a family owned-operated GMC dealership proudly servicing our community since 1967. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, & customer-focused Automotive Service Manager to lead our growing service department.
If you are a proven leader who excels at building high performing teams, delivering exceptional customer service and driving profitability, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities:- Lead the daily operations of the service department.
- Hire, train, coach and motivate service advisors and technicians.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction from appointment through vehicle delivery.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
- Maintain manufacturer standards and dealership policies.
- Work closely with the Parts and Sales departments to maximize customer service.
- Manage scheduling, workflow, and repair order quality.
- Review department financial performance and meet profitability goals.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous Automotive Service Manager experience preferred along with knowledge of the advisor and technical writing positions.
- Mechanical & shop experience a plus
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Excellent communication & customer service abilities.
- Experience with dealership management systems (GM dealership experience is a plus).
- Ability to manage technicians, advisors, and workflow effectively.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
