Ubicación: Itasca, Illinois Tarifa salarial: $18.00 Descripción general del puesto Buscamos a un Fabricante de Metales capacitado y confiable para unirse a nuestro equipo. El candidato ideal tendrá experiencia práctica trabajando con materiales metálicos, equipos de fabricación, herramientas manuales y eléctricas, y la capacidad de leer e interpretar dibujos de taller y mediciones. El Fabricante de Metales será responsable de preparar, cortar, formar, ajustar y ensamblar componentes metálicos de acuerdo con las especificaciones del cliente, los planos y las normas de calidad de la empresa. Este puesto requiere una gran atención al detalle, un compromiso con la seguridad y la capacidad de trabajar eficazmente tanto de forma independiente como en equipo. Responsabilidades clave Leer e interpretar planos, dibujos de taller, bocetos e instrucciones de trabajo. Medir, marcar, cortar, taladrar, doblar, esmerilar y dar forma a materiales metálicos según las dimensiones especificadas. Configurar y operar equipos de fabricación, incluyendo sierras, taladros, amoladoras, cizallas, plegadoras y otra maquinaria de taller. Ajustar y ensamblar componentes metálicos utilizando las herramientas y técnicas adecuadas. Inspeccionar el trabajo terminado para garantizar que las dimensiones, el ajuste, el acabado y la calidad cumplan con las especificaciones. Identificar y corregir problemas o defectos de fabricación. Mantenga un área de trabajo limpia, organizada y segura. Siga todos los procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa y los requisitos de OSHA. Utilice y mantenga adecuadamente las herramientas, los equipos y el equipo de protección personal. Trabaje de manera eficiente para cumplir con los programas de producción y los plazos de los proyectos. Comunicarse eficazmente con supervisores, soldadores, maquinistas y otros miembros del equipo. Realizar otras tareas relacionadas con la fabricación según se asignen. Cualificaciones Se prefiere experiencia previa en fabricación de metales, soldadura o un entorno de manufactura relacionado. Capacidad para leer y comprender planos y dibujos técnicos. Experiencia en el uso de herramientas manuales y eléctricas. Capacidad para operar de forma segura maquinaria de fabricación.
