Position Summary: The Laser Operator I is responsible for assisting in the setup and operation of Trumpf sheet lasers and/or punch turrets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry-level role focuses on developing technical skills while supporting production efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist with machine set-up, part nesting, and operation of laser and/or turret equipment. Load raw materials and assist in unloading finished parts. Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, reporting issues to supervisors. Make basic corrections and notations on work routers as instructed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and standard operating practices. Support team members and production goals as needed. Competencies: Mechanical Aptitude Attention to Detail Teamwork Orientation Basic Problem Solving Time Management Safety Awareness Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and math skills. Ability to learn blueprint reading and machine operations. Good verbal and written communication skills. We participate in E-Verify.
