Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, including evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans.
• Experience providing 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• Demonstrated competency in documentation, goal writing, and use of medical necessity letters and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and clinic policies.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and to participate in student clinical education when assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel or contract therapy experience in outpatient clinics.
• Experience with performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with safe patient handling practices.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Clinic expects 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• May be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, punctuality, and safety practices.

Impacting Patient Care

Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans to meet patient needs and physician direction. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Create functional treatment programs to support return to community activities. Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation and ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and insurance approvals when required. Participate in student education and maintain professional licensure in good standing. Adhere to safety policies and the clinic's competency program to maintain required skills and performance improvement initiatives.
