We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our high-volume, fast-paced restaurant team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who leads from the floor, communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and knows how to build a strong front-of-house team.

The Restaurant Manager will oversee nightly service, support staff development, maintain high guest-service standards, and ensure smooth operations through closing. Weekend availability is non-negotiable, and the successful candidate must be comfortable working late-night closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee front-of-house operations during high-volume lunch, dinner, private events, and weekend service
• Manage floor flow, guest satisfaction, staffing coverage, reservations, wait times, and service standards
• Hire, onboard, train, coach, and schedule FOH team members, including servers, bartenders, bussers and food runners.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily updates, service expectations, menu changes, and special events
• Set a positive, professional tone and promote teamwork across all FOH positions
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, working to create memorable dining experiences
• Hold staff accountable to restaurant policies, appearance standards, punctuality, side work, and closing responsibilities
• Support inventory, supplies, cash handling, closing reports, and end-of-night procedures
• Work closely with the kitchen team, ownership, and management to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH
• Help maintain a clean, organized, polished dining room and bar throughout service
• Identify operational issues quickly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with private events, large parties, VIP guests, and special occasions as needed

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience (4yrs+) in a high-volume, full-service restaurant is required
• Proven experience hiring, training, developing, and managing FOH staff
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold a team accountable
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong knowledge of guest service, floor management, reservations, and restaurant operations
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform well under pressure
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail
• Experience with POS and reservation systems is preferred
