Our company supports the growth and future of the Aerospace industry and is looking to add a 2nd Shift masking positions to our team to contribute to our advancement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop basic masking and masking removal techniques using various types of tapes, dots, and plugs
• Racking and un-racking parts for the plating process
• Responsible for clocking in and out of jobs using the Company's ERP system
• Reading and interpreting documents such as work orders (job traveler)
• Verify product/part counts
• Visually inspect jobs and notify supervisor of any issues if necessary
• Adhere to company Quality and Safety standards, policies, and procedures always
• To meet the needs of our customers and colleagues, you are expected to be at your desk/station and ready to work at your designated start time

Competencies:

• High level attention to detail and manual dexterity is required
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate in English verbally and written
• Perform basic math skills efficiently and accurately (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to solve practical process or procedural problems/issues
• Critical evaluation and thinking

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Additional eligibility qualifications:

• Must have an acceptable criminal history background check
• Must pass a drug test

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
• Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools
• Constantly communicating with others to exchange information
• Occasionally moving objects up to 20 pounds
• Remaining in a stationary position, sitting for prolonged periods

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

• Full time 2nd shift 2:45pm-11pm (Monday thru Friday)
• Overtime may be required
• May be asked to work weekends with little to no notice

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

• Occasionally working in high or low temperatures
• The noise level in the work environment is occasionally moderate decibels
• Occasionally works in hazardous conditions
• PPE may be required
