As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns. Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and activity logs in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Help support a professional environment by reporting facility concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
