As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and staff while using computer or tablet technology to document activities and support daily operations. Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, common spaces, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, potential hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
