Pediatric Endocrinologist

*The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at The Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center* is seeking a 4th full-time physician to join a well-established and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatric endocrinologist interested in inpatient care, teaching, and professional growth within a supportive academic environment. *Clinical and academic responsibilities:* * Inpatient pediatric care and newborn care * Pediatric sedation and complex care management * Active teaching of medical students and residents in Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics and Family Medicine *Position details and requirements:* * MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology * Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. * Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents and other healthcare providers. * Opportunities for professional development and involvement in medical education *About the Department and facilities:* * Robust academic Department of Pediatrics with multiple residency programs * Diverse and highly respected division with a strong focus on patient care, education, and quality improvement * Team: 3 physicians, 2 NPs, RN diabetes educators, a registered dietician, and an endocrine RN * Houses 60 level 4 NICU beds, 19 PICU beds * Home to the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) * Sole Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) serving 25 counties * Only facility in the region offering 24/7 pediatric emergency services *We offer a highly competitive benefits package, including:* * Competitive base salary range Assistant Professor $180,000-$188,000k.
