Overview
A well-established and thriving practice in Albany, NY is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advanced diabetes and endocrine care . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a primarily outpatient setting with access to cutting-edge diabetes technology and strong clinical support .
Position: Physician Endocrinology
Location: Albany, NY
Practice Setting: Outpatient (Primary) + Limited Inpatient Call
• Primarily outpatient practice strong work-life balance
• 1:10 call rotation with minimal inpatient responsibilities
• Flexible scheduling options
• Work alongside Endocrinologists, APPs, and Certified Diabetes Educators
• Access to advanced diabetes technology (CGM, insulin pump downloads)
• Opportunity to join a growing, patient-centered endocrine program
• Open to experienced physicians and 2025 grads
• H1B visa support available (No J1)
• Comprehensive endocrinology and diabetes care program
• Services include:
Diabetes management and education
Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)
Insulin pump technology
Onsite HbA1c testing
Weight management and nutrition counseling
Foot care and complication screening
• Integrated care model focused on long-term patient outcomes
• Provide outpatient endocrine and diabetes care
• Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Participate in shared call rotation
• Educate patients on disease management and prevention
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Endocrinology REQUIRED
Active New York License (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
Prior Endocrinology experience PREFERRED
Must disclose visa requirement status (H1B accepted, No J1)
NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) REQUIRED
Local candidates within 30 miles cannot be considered
