Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative at Soundtrace, you'll be the tip of the spear for our sales team — finding, engaging, and qualifying the EHS leaders and safety managers who need a better way to run their hearing conservation programs. This is an entry-level role built for someone right out of school (0-2 years of experience) with a special-forces mentality: independent, disciplined, and relentless. You'll get real ownership from day one and work side-by-side with sales leadership in Cincinnati. What you'll do Prospect and research target accounts in industrial, manufacturing, and construction sectors Run outbound outreach — calls, emails, and LinkedIn — to EHS managers and safety directors Qualify inbound leads and book meetings for Account Executives Learn the hearing conservation space inside and out — OSHA requirements, customer pain points, competitive landscape Keep the CRM clean and report on pipeline activity Experiment with new outreach plays and share what works with the team Who you are 0-2 years of experience — new grads welcome Independent, self-directed, and disciplined — a special-forces mindset, you execute without waiting for orders Hungry to start a career in sales and willing to do the unglamorous work that builds pipeline Resilient and coachable — you take feedback fast and don't get rattled by a 'no' Strong writer and confident communicator on the phone Based in (or willing to relocate to) Cincinnati, OH Nice to have Internship or part-time experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or competitive environments (athletics, military, entrepreneurship) Interest in safety, healthcare, or industrial industries Familiarity with CRM or sales engagement tools Why Soundtrace Clear path to Account Executive as you prove yourself Learn directly from experienced operators — no layers between you and leadership Your work directly helps protect workers from irreversible hearing loss #J-18808-Ljbffr Soundtrace, LLC
