Executive Director, Computational Systems Biology

Revolution Medicines seeks an Executive Director to lead computational systems biology research and preclinical bioinformatics initiatives. The role involves overseeing a team analyzing multi-omics datasets to inform RAS-targeted oncology therapeutics, collaborating across functions from discovery through clinical development.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute long-term strategy for systems biology and bioinformatics research supporting oncology pipeline
Lead team of computational biologists and bioinformaticians in data generation, organization, and analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally to apply computational insights to drug development and patient stratification
Direct implementation of cutting-edge statistical, AI/ML, and reproducible research methods and workflows
Cultivate academic and industry partnerships; represent company at scientific conferences and manage IP strategy

Requirements

Ph.D. in systems biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related biomedical discipline
15+ years experience in computational biology or related field
Proven leadership of computational biology or bioinformatics teams
Expertise in large-scale multi-omics data analysis and interpretation
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and workflow management tools
Knowledge of AI/ML methods and statistical analysis for biological applications
Track record of peer-reviewed publications and scientific thought leadership
