Part-Time Host/Hostess

As a Host/Hostess , you'll be the first friendly face our diners see, coordinating seating arrangements and supporting dining room operations to ensure exceptional customer service and an outstanding experience for everyone.

Wage

• $15.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Ensures prompt, courteous service for Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards.
• Escorts Residents and guests to their table, provides menus, shares specials, and pours ice water.
• Monitors adherence to the dress code for Residents and guests.
• Responsible for the set-up and monitoring of special functions, in addition to normal daily operations.
• Prepares Daily Meal Served Reports and other reports as assigned.
• Posts daily menus, copies, and enlarges as directed.
• Assists with clearing and resetting tables at the conclusion of each meal for the next group of diners or meal period.
• Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of servers and bus persons.
• Inspects dining rooms and serving stations for neatness and cleanliness. Requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
• Maintains a smooth flow of dining room functions to ensure Willow Valley standards are met.
• Follows Willow Valley's HACCP Plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours

10-12 hours per week
Tuesday/Thursday/Every Other Weekend/Every Other Holiday

Schedule:

• 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
• 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Sunday (Every Other Holiday)
