Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and initial assessments to determine individual client needs.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating feedback and ongoing assessments to maximize client outcomes.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions tailored to specific therapeutic modalities and client goals.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, adapting plans as necessary to address emerging issues.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers to coordinate holistic care and referrals.

• Provide follow-up care for clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity and integration of treatment plans.

• Guide and educate family members and caregivers on managing mental and behavioral health challenges faced by clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the State of New Jersey.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a track record of managing diverse client caseloads.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to document sessions and manage client information.

• Experience working with clients facing both mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and the best guidelines set by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Deep understanding of medication effects as prescribed by healthcare providers and how they interact with therapy.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling meaningful connections with clients and family members.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $80,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside an enticing sign-on bonus.
