Billing Specialist

Responsibilities Our client in West Houston is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. Generate, review, and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner Verify billing information and resolve discrepancies Research and respond to customer billing inquiries Maintain billing records and ensure data accuracy within the system Work closely with internal departments to gather supporting documentation Monitor billing status and follow up on outstanding issues as needed Assist with month-end activities and reporting Support additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications 2+ years of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High school diploma required; associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus $23-$26/hour , depending on experience Opportunity to convert to a permanent position Stable work environment with a growing organization Hands-on experience with a collaborative team All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
