About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel with a focus on renewable energy development, M&A, and project finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of transactions throughout the project lifecycle, including development, M&A, project financing, construction, and long-term operations. This role involves close collaboration with commercial, technical, and executive stakeholders, as well as the structuring, drafting, review, and negotiation of various project-related contracts. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also provide strategic legal guidance, manage external counsel, and ensure the identification and mitigation of legal and commercial risks to drive successful project execution. Applicants must be qualified attorneys with at least 8 years' of legal experience, preferably with a background in renewable energy, infrastructure, power generation, or project finance. The role requires a proven track record in negotiating and closing complex commercial agreements, as well as strong commercial acumen to balance legal risk with business objectives. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment. While not mandatory, prior experience in the renewable energy sector is highly desirable.
