Prep Cook - Harriet's Hamburgers

Reports To: Chef - Kitchen Manager

From house-made pickles and sauces to fresh-cut produce, the care you put in before the doors open is what makes every guest's meal worth coming back for. What You'll Do

• Prep fresh ingredients daily - wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion produce

• Make our house-made items from scratch: pickles, sauces, fresh juices, and more

• Measure and assemble ingredients so the line runs smoothly during service

• Label, date, and store all food properly and safely

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Keep your station and the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for anything

• Help with receiving, stocking, and inventory counts

• Work as one team with the rest of the kitchen crew

What We're Looking For

• Prep or kitchen experience is a plus - but a great attitude and willingness to learn matter more

• Comfort with (or eagerness to learn) standard kitchen equipment

• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes consistently

• Stamina to stay on your feet and keep pace in a busy kitchen

• Reliability and the ability to manage your prep list without constant supervision

• A team-first, hospitality-minded attitude - kindness is on the menu here, too

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior customer service experience
• A true "people person"providing exceptional and gracious service
• Experience working with a Point of Sale system
• Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Competency in counting money and processing payments
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently even in a stressful situation
• A genuine commitment to excellence and success
