Welder

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication and machining, is seeking a dedicated Certified Welder to join their dynamic team. As a Certified Welder, you will be an integral part of the production department, supporting the creation of high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Certified Welder

Location: Winston Salem, NC

Pay Range: $20-$25

Shift: 1st Shift Only

What's the Job?

• Perform quality welds on metal components based on company and industry standards

• Operate hand tools, grinders, and sanders to smooth and finish metal parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications accurately

• Support general production tasks such as grinding, sanding, and welding metal components

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency

What's Needed?

• Valid welding certification required

• Ability to pass pre-employment weld tests

• Experience with MIG, TIG, or other welding processes preferred but not required - this is a great entry level role for someone recently certified!

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
