Building Engineer

Our client, a manufacturing facility specializing in industrial systems, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services supporting maintenance and safety operations. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Building Engineer Pay Range: $25 What's the Job? Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. What's Needed? High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job‑related experience. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more. What's in it for me? Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
