Técnico de Flebotomía en Hospital I - Banner Thunderbird (Turno Nocturno)

Esta posición es responsable de la recolección y recepción de muestras biológicas en el departamento, su correcta entrada en el sistema informático de la empresa, la preparación de muestras para pruebas analíticas y/o la distribución de estas muestras a la área analítica correspondiente. También se asignan pruebas analíticas específicas a esta posición. Mantiene tasas de rechazo de muestras aceptables y cumple con los estándares departamentales de productividad y calidad según lo definido actualmente. Participa en las responsabilidades financieras del departamento a través del uso apropiado de suministros y materiales. Evita el desperdicio excesivo. Se comunica de manera cortés y profesional con clientes internos y externos. Interactúa con compañeros de trabajo con un énfasis en el trabajo en equipo y un enfoque en el servicio al cliente. Reconoce y comprende la importancia de los 'Derechos del Paciente' y la privacidad (HIPAA). Requisitos Mínima edad de 18 años . Diploma de secundaria o equivalente, según requisitos regulatorios estatales. Conocimiento básico de los materiales de recursos del departamento. Completación de un programa de flebotomía o experiencia en flebotomía. Certificación en flebotomía conforme a las regulaciones estatales. Posible certificación de huellas dactilares de DHS o la capacidad de obtenerla. Licencia de conducir estatal válida y elegibilidad para cobertura bajo la póliza de seguro de auto de la empresa, según la ubicación. Disponibilidad para viajar y horarios flexibles para trabajar en múltiples ubicaciones y cubrir instalaciones de flebotomía móviles o de oficina con poco aviso. Disponibilidad según los requisitos de personal: fines de semana, días festivos y horas extras. Posibilidad de trabajar de guardia fines de semana, noches y madrugada. Progresión a través de la escalera de carrera II-IV sujeta a la completación de los requisitos de la escalera de carrera. Bilingüe (español/inglés). Conocimiento de terminología médica.
