Facilities Specialist III

Job Purpose:The Facilities Specialist III at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of the organization's facilities. This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and conducive to the needs of staff and clients, while adhering to regulatory standards and optimizing resource utilization.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities across all facilities to ensure they meet health and safety regulations.Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facilities and equipment.Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with organizational standards.Collaborate with internal departments to support facility-related needs and projects.Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring expenditures align with financial goals.Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues efficiently to minimize disruption.Ensure all facility operations are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Required Education:High School diploma requiredTrade school training preferredRequired Experience:Minimum 8 years related experience with comprehensive knowledge of maintenanceMust be proficient in all necessary trades to accomplish all assigned tasks, to include but not limited to electrical, plumbing, construction, carpentry, HV/AC and paintingRequired Skills and Abilities:Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in using facilities management software and tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, vendors, and stakeholders.Ability to develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.Required Driving:Must be Over the age of 21 requiredMinimum of 5-years driving experience requiredPossess a Valid FL Driver’s licensePossess a continuously valid US Driver’s license for the past three years, from date of issue requiredSafe driving record requiredLifeStream BenefitsHealth/Dental/Vision InsuranceShort Term DisabilityPension Plan403(b)PTO (Over 4 weeks your 1st year!)Flexible Work SchedulesTuition Reimbursement ProgramFree Telehealth ServicesHRSAAnd More!Important NoticeAs part of our hiring process and in compliance with Section 435.04, Florida Statutes, certain positions require a Level 2 background screening.
