About the Position

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of recent ICU experience License: Current NY License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - No background or license hits - 36 hours guaranteed Description: ICU Registered Nurse position available. Candidates must have 2+ years of recent ICU experience. Local candidates accepted, defined as being within 50 miles. Current New York nursing license is required. No background or license hits will be accepted. Candidates will work 36 hours guaranteed each week. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias are essential. Experience with arterial line management and central line care is required. Ability to manage and titrate cardiac drips and vasoactive drips is necessary. Competence in caring for ventilated patients and interpreting arterial blood gases is expected. Nurses are responsible for independently measuring telemetry strips and interpreting cardiac rhythms. All requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Travelers will need to coordinate with peers for coverage. Previous employees are not eligible for this travel position. Returning travelers can be considered for rehire if in good standing.
