About the Position

ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience License: Must have a valid state license in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: No background or license hits Description: ICU Registered Nurse needed with recent experience in critical care settings. Local candidates are considered within a specific radius. Candidate must hold a valid state nursing license. The job requires the ability to fulfill a full 12-hour shift on the first day. The nurse should arrive prepared to work most of that day in scrubs. All requests for time off must be included in the initial submission. It is the responsibility of the traveler to coordinate with peers for coverage. Previous employees are not eligible for travel positions, but return travelers may be considered. Travelers must pass an assessment on cardiac rhythm interpretation for telemetry patients. If a nurse does not achieve the required score, further educational resources will be provided. Nurses will independently measure telemetry strips and interpret cardiac rhythms. The unit operates without dedicated telemetry technicians, placing this responsibility on the nursing staff.
