This position reports to Head of Sales Accounts Division IEC Low Voltage Motors Germany.

The work model for the role is: Remote.

Your responsibilities include:

In this role, you will be the first point of contact and a trusted specialist for our customers in industrial motor projects. You will prepare competitive project quotations and handle incoming customer inquiries. This position requires a high level of attention to detail as well as the ability to communicate and negotiate professionally with various business partners to ensure project completion.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsible for acquiring new customers as well as maintaining and securing the existing customer base
• Act as point of contact for our customers and present selected ABB products and solutions in a customer-oriented manner, such as motors and drives
• Translate requirements within the OEM customer segment into suitable solutions by analyzing specifications and tenders
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, supported by the technical inside sales team, through to project negotiations or framework agreement negotiations
• Continuously monitor market and competitor developments and contribute to developing new sales strategies
• Participate in trade fairs, customer events, and promotional activities and support our marketing initiatives
• Take responsibility for the assigned budget and regularly analyze the results of all activities in a professional manner

Qualifications for the role include:

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
• Initial professional experience in field sales, in OEM sales and in the area of motors/drives technology
• Practical experience and application knowledge in the use of variable frequency drives, electric motors, and control systems
• Customer and market focus, effective closing and communication abilities, persuasive and negotiation capabilities, a service-oriented mindset, and solid self-management
• Openness to new media and technologies
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer appointments within the North-East region
