Human Resources Assistant (NAF/Developmental) NF-02/03.

Duties Performs a wide variety of technical support, focused primarily in the areas of recruitment and staffing. Extends job offers, conducts pre-employment screenings and assists selectees during pre-employment processes. Uses automated systems to track requests for personnel actions and continually updates status of assigned personnel actions. Coordinates entrance on duty dates once pre-employment requirements are met, prepares new hire paperwork and provides new employee orientation briefings. Requirements Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Must complete CHRA NAF Career Path I within 18 months of position placement. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. NF-02 (Developmental): Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems. NF-03: Possess six (6) months work experience in a human resources profession performing a variety of recruitment support, employee relations support or personnel action processing functions. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work with a variety of HR information systems. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office.
