Part Time Bookkeeper

Company: Monarch CFO & Bookkeeping LLC Location: Remote / Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid Optional) Hours: Part-Time (15–25 hours per week) Position Overview Monarch CFO & Bookkeeping is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to support multiple clients across various industries, including small businesses and nonprofits. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment and enjoys bringing organization and clarity to financial records. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting monthly close processes for a portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable schedules Assist with invoicing, billing, and collections tracking Prepare and post journal entries as needed Support month-end close and deliver financial reports by deadlines Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues Maintain organized digital files and documentation for each client Communicate professionally with internal team members and clients Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (multi-client or firm experience preferred) Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (cash vs. accrual, debits/credits) Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and clients simultaneously Strong communication and time management skills Experience working with nonprofits is a plus Preferred Skills QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with tools such as Stripe, Qgiv, or similar platforms Familiarity with class and location tracking in QBO Comfortable working in a remote, paperless environment What We Offer Remote work environment (with optional in-office collaboration days) Opportunity to work with a variety of clients and industries Growth potential within a fast-growing fractional CFO and bookkeeping firm Supportive and collaborative team environment Compensation Hourly rate based on experience: $20–$25/hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
