Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk will be play an important role in not only the reporting of non-gaming related data, but for reviewing and processing source data to provide accurate and timely entry to accounting systems and sub-systems. This position will require the preparation of daily spreadsheets ensuring the accuracy of all data. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for the process input data according to established accounting procedures, facilitating timely and accurate recordings. This position will require resolution of issues with collections, billings, and reconciliations, applying payments, chargebacks, etc. The Accounting Clerk must be organized and able to prioritize and manage tasks. Requirements THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties) Communicate with company personnel and customers to ensure account records are accurate and complete Type correspondence, memos, file documents, etc., copies and distributes to proper recipients Provides management with proper reporting Ability to meet deadlines and focus on the accuracy of important details Performs other job-related duties as directed Review system documents for accuracy and completeness, as well as maintain any documentation for the established filing system of Accounting Notify management of any discrepancy with reporting; will assist in the research of locating the source of error and the resolution to correct said error Consistently maintains a positive attitude during workday Maintains a clean and safe work environment and complies with safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of the unsafe conditions Perform other duties as assigned WHAT IT TAKES (The Qualities We Look For) Great team player with the ability create excellent working relationships across the group.
