The 1Password Demo Engineering team works closely with many cross-functional teams to deliver assets to support our customer’s demo experience. These demos and self-guided walkthroughs are used primarily by our Solutions Engineering and GTM Sales teams. However, you’ll also partner closely with Customer and Sales Enablement as well as Product Marketing and our Web team to build assets that are used on our marketing website, trade shows, and for internal and external training. In addition to creating new demos based on product changes, you’ll work with Solutions Engineering to create customer-specific demos to match customer requirements or use cases. You’ll work closely with the rest of your team to ensure proper demo governance, maintenance, and effectiveness.

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years experience as a Solutions Engineer or in other similar customer-facing activities in a B2B environment with a preference for working on the creation of demo assets

• 3+ years experience working in a multi-product SaaS environment

• Demonstrated ability to disseminate and popularize technical information for a general audience.

• Proven ability to learn new information quickly

• Excellent presentation and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate to technical assets and leave behinds

• Keen eye for detail and quality

• Experienced in implementing scalable processes for demo creation, version control, and maintenance to ensure consistency.

• Excitement when it comes to investigating, testing, and exploring solutions and tools

• Strong level of autonomy with the ability to drive projects with little guidance

• Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and understanding the impact of changes across the ecosystem

• Experienced in implementing scalable processes for demo creation, version control, and maintenance to ensure consistency.

• Experience working with SaaS tools is a must

• Demonstrated ability to deeply analyze demo usage and content effectiveness, providing actionable insights, identifying new data capture opportunities, and proactively collaborating with stakeholders on observations and recommendations.

• Maintain a high-level understanding of AI technologies and demonstrate confidence in learning and creating content for the company's evolving AI roadmap for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Strong understanding of web development technologies like CSS, HTML, and Javascript

• Demonstrated ability to understand and report on analytics to measure the effectiveness of the content we create

• Heavy experience with a SaaS demo creation platform is a must. Bonus points if that platform is Reprise

• Additionally, it’s a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or another password manager as well as experience with Identity and Access Management tools—while not required, it’ll help you gain confidence quickly in this role.
  

What you can expect :

• Serve as a primary creator of complex content (e.g, building representations of our product from scratch) in 1Password Demo Engineering team

• Proactively scope and build tailored demos and walkthroughs

• Build strong, collaborative cross-functional relationships to assess needs and the effectiveness of the assets we create

• Adhere to a strong program of governance for the demo program to ensure assets are well-kept, relevant, and effective

• Record video content, create web assets, and other ancillary deliverables to embed into demos to increase engagement

• Provide guidance to leadership on improving the effectiveness of the demo program

• Help manage planning and execution of the demo program at a high level

• Provide feedback to cross-functional teams (Product, Product Marketing, Enablement, etc.) based on demo development experience

• Mentor non-senior members of the team

• Occasional travel, including cross-border travel, may be required for conferences, customer on-sites, and company off-sites.
  

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $98,000 USD and $132,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $91,000 CAD and $123,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
