Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work closely and support a variety of skilled trades and construction activities. Remain productive. Load, offload, move and organize supplies, materials, tools and small equipment at company yards and job sites. Prepare work sites, maintain safe work sites. Perform trade for long hours, day after day, often in adverse conditions, to complete the project at hand. Responsible for reporting any incident, situation or activity that may affect the Company’s ability to operate safely, ethically and profitably to the supervisor and the Company Safety Manager. Duty to conduct oneself in the best interest of the company while on the job or representing CEI. Maintain any required certifications mandatory by law or company policy. Perform other duties as assigned. Willing to travel Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications · Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent · Level of Experience Requirements: 2-5 years’ relevant experience · Must have reliable transportation · Must pass Fit For Duty physical · Must have a clean driving record Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics · All around knowledge of materials, terms, and practices in construction field. · Proficiency with hand and power tools. · Small equipment/material mobilization- able to drive trailers and small pieces of equipment/parts safely to and from jobsites. · Ability to work in a team environment, take directions from supervisor(s) · Ability to actively listen and follow instructions. · Ability to work productively under pressure. · Strong self-motivation and work ethic; ability to work with or without direct supervision. · Ability to report to work consistently on time and work a flexible schedule, up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week. · Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company. · Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, HCSS software, or industry‑standard software. · Knowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally. · Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles – awareness of proper handling of sensitive information. · Communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally. · Time management and prioritization – balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. · Problem‑solving and critical thinking – analyzing issues and selecting appropriate solutions. · Interpersonal and teamwork skills – building rapport and collaborating effectively with others. · Attention to detail – producing accurate, error‑free work. Preferred · Two years’ experience in the construction field preferred. · Carpentry experience also preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities · This position will have supervisory responsibilities. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
