Job Details Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, 14642, United States of America. Opening: Work Shift: UR - Rotating (United States of America). Schedule: D/E/N rotation, 8- and 12-hour shifts, holidays and weekends per unit policy. Compensation Range: $37.12 - $50.11 per hour. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Responsibilities Function as a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, build competency in the provision of direct patient care. Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Support peers in the delivery of patient care services. Provide patient-family centered care to those recovering from burn injuries, poly-trauma, and progressive level of care for medical, surgical, and neuro patients. Provide holistic care to critically injured burn patients and those with severe trauma/head injuries from the point of injury to long-term care. Provide care for patients with complex needs or requiring higher level of oxygenation and close monitoring. Qualifications The candidates must be a strong team player and be able to demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, communication, organization/priority setting and time management skills.
