As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. You will own core day-to-day operations and lead the annual and biannual planning processes while distilling and disseminating critical priorities for the VP of Safety and Alignment. Responsibilities Define and execute the annual and half‑yearly business, including distilling key organization priorities and driving the goal processes. Develop, forecast, and manage headcount, budgets, and operational utilization while strategically allocating resources to projects based on timelines and priorities. Analyze resource and operational data to identify trends, perform ad hoc analyses, and implement strategies that reduce waste, friction, and bureaucracy. Lead high‑priority, direct technical projects for the VP of Safety and Alignment and coordinate high‑visibility executive reviews.
