Sterile Processing Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holiday rotation.

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment. This position requires experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and involvement in various specialties such as Neurosurgery, Urology, Robotics, ENT, Orthopedics, Transplant, and Gynecology.

• Perform sterilization and decontamination of surgical instruments.
• Assemble and wrap surgical sets and trays.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols for infection control and safety.
• Participate in holiday rotations and adhere to the schedule as required.
• May be required to float to other facility units as needed.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Certification through CBSPD and/or HSPA is required.
• Level 1 Trauma experience is mandatory.
