Job Summary
Burn Proof Gear is a Miami-based tactical accessories manufacturer looking for a detail-oriented Accounting / Admin Assistant to support our day-to-day accounting operations and serve as a central point of contact between departments.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Sales Transactions
Create and track customer invoices in QuickBooks Online; estimates as needed
Review and verify sales transactions across multiple channels
Organize, verify, and report on AR aging
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between channel data and QBO records|
Accounts Payable & Purchasing
Coordinate and verify purchase transactions against external software and staff
Process vendor payments and maintain AP aging
Review and code employee expense reports
General Accounting
Support monthly reconciliations and month-end close
Support journal entry preparation and posting
Coordinate with external CPA on tax prep and year-end close
Assist with additional tasks as the company grows
Office & Administrative Support
Serve as a point of contact between departments, including warehouse and operations
Handle general office administration and day-to-day operational support
Assist with vendor and staff communications as needed
Qualifications
1-2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration experience
1-2 years of recent QuickBooks Online experience required
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools quickly
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Experience with ERP or MRP systems (e.g. Katana) a plus
Experience in a product-based or e-commerce business a plus
