Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Tennessee-licensed Pharmacist is needed to serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) providing remote support for out-of-state mail order pharmacy licensing and compliance. This role involves supporting the Montana Board of Pharmacy licensing requirements for mail order services and performing quarterly on-site compliance inspections at a Tennessee location.

Primary Responsibilities:• Serve as the designated PIC licensed in Tennessee to support the Montana mail order pharmacy license.
• Complete initial and renewal Pharmacist in Charge and Board of Pharmacy documentation.
• Conduct quarterly on-site compliance inspections at the company’s Brentwood, TN facility—onsite visits require approximately one hour.
• Review patient accounts for portable oxygen tanks to confirm annual prescription renewals are obtained.
• Verify proper storage, posted hours, and current pharmacy licenses during site inspections.
• Complete inspection checklists and report any compliance issues requiring follow-up.
• Assist with compliance audits and additional inspection requests as directed by senior leadership.

Desired Qualifications:
• Current, unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist license with no disciplinary actions
• Residency in Tennessee and valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• 3+ years of pharmacist experience (candidates with less experience may be considered)
• Strong attention to regulatory compliance and documentation accuracy

Work Environment & Schedule:
This consulting role is primarily remote with minimal time commitment—approximately four hours annually for onsite inspections. Candidates may hold full-time employment elsewhere while fulfilling this position’s duties.

This assignment is a contract position, expected for 13+ weeks with potential for long-term extension. Candidates should be available to start as soon as possible, with a start date no later than the end of October.
