Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Tennessee-licensed Pharmacist is needed to serve as the remote Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) supporting mail order pharmacy operations that serve patients in Montana. This role provides critical regulatory oversight and compliance support, primarily through remote work with infrequent on-site responsibilities.

Location:

• Remote (Must be physically located in Tennessee)
• Quarterly on-site inspections at Brentwood, TN

Job Type:

• Contract (13+ weeks, possibility of long-term extensions)
• Primarily remote consulting role with minimal time commitment
• On-site inspections require approximately 1 hour per quarter

Responsibilities:

• Act as the designated Tennessee-licensed PIC for the Montana Board of Pharmacy mail order license
• Complete initial and renewal PIC and Board of Pharmacy documentation as required
• Conduct quarterly compliance inspections at the Brentwood, TN location, including physical site verification of oxygen tank storage, hours, and licenses
• Review patient accounts for annual prescription renewals related to portable oxygen tanks
• Complete detailed inspection checklists and report compliance concerns
• Assist with additional regulatory or inspection tasks as requested by leadership

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist license
• Located within the state of Tennessee
• 3-5 years of pharmacist experience preferred (flexible)
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license for travel to on-site inspections

Schedule:

• Although a 40-hour workweek compensation is guaranteed, the position requires only a small portion of that for on-site visits and documentation (approximately 4 hours annually onsite)
• Flexible to accommodate alongside other full-time employment
