This position offers an opportunity for a Tennessee-licensed pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) providing remote support for out-of-state mail order pharmacy licensing and compliance. The primary focus is overseeing regulatory requirements for Montana patients receiving home medical equipment, including oxygen and respiratory supplies, through a healthcare-at-home pharmacy service. The role combines remote consulting with quarterly on-site inspections at a location in Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the designated PIC for the Montana Board of Pharmacy out-of-state mail order license.
• Complete initial and renewal PIC documentation and Board of Pharmacy forms.
• Conduct quarterly on-site compliance inspections at the Brentwood, TN facility, including physical site evaluations and verification of regulatory compliance.
• Review patient accounts to ensure annual prescription renewals for portable oxygen tanks.
• Complete detailed inspection checklists and submit reports highlighting follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on additional compliance and inspection tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee pharmacist license.
• Residency within Tennessee.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience; candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license for travel to inspection site.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of pharmacy regulatory requirements.

Location:

• Remote work based in Tennessee with quarterly on-site visits at the Brentwood, TN location.

Schedule and Contract:

• This is a contract role requiring minimal time commitment—approximately one hour per quarter for onsite visits, plus initial setup and documentation.
• Candidates may hold a full-time position concurrently, as the role demands limited hours overall.
• Contract duration of at least 13 weeks with potential for extension.
