The Contract Sales role focuses on driving client acquisition by selling advertisement sponsorship packages for events. This entry-level, individual contributor position involves frequent local travel to engage with businesses, primarily through cold calling, to secure short-term sponsorship contracts. Ideal for retired individuals or those seeking part-time work, compensation is commission-based, tied directly to executed sales agreements. Must have your own transportation, vehicle insurance, and valid drivers license.
Responsibilities
- Acquire clients by promoting and selling event sponsorship advertisement packages
- Travel frequently to visit local businesses and conduct cold calls
- Negotiate short-term contracts tailored to client needs
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing sponsors
- Meet or exceed sales targets and commission goals
