Responsibilities Prepare Detailed Estimates : Develop precise cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment from schematic design to final completion. Manage the Bid Process : Coordinate with subcontractors, gather quotes, and ensure each project scope is fully addressed. Collaborate with Project Teams : Work closely with Project Managers to align budgets and timelines, ensuring a smooth transition once bids are awarded. Value Engineering : Identify cost-saving strategies without sacrificing quality or Stellar’s commitment to excellence. Documentation & Reporting : Maintain organized records of estimates, assumptions, and clarifications for transparency and future reference. Requirements Experience : At least 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience. No Sponsorship Available : Must be a U.S. citizen. Location : Position based in Sarasota, FL; candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Technical Skills : Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
