Responsibilities

• Prepare Detailed Estimates : Develop precise cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment from schematic design to final completion.
• Manage the Bid Process : Coordinate with subcontractors, gather quotes, and ensure each project scope is fully addressed.
• Collaborate with Project Teams : Work closely with Project Managers to align budgets and timelines, ensuring a smooth transition once bids are awarded.
• Value Engineering : Identify cost-saving strategies without sacrificing quality or Stellar’s commitment to excellence.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain organized records of estimates, assumptions, and clarifications for transparency and future reference.

Requirements

• Experience : At least 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• No Sponsorship Available : Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Location : Position based in Sarasota, FL; candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Technical Skills : Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication & Detail Orientation : Ability to analyze complex data, present clear justifications, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
