Director of Product, Growth

Role Summary We're looking for a Director of Growth to lead our Product organization focused on customer and business growth for McAfee. This is a high-ownership leadership role responsible for how customers discover, buy, and stay subscribed to our products. You'll own the customer commerce funnel: conversion, monetization, and retention of a global, direct-to-consumer subscription business. This is the right role for someone who is obsessed with the customer experience, thinks in experiments and segmentation, is fluent in the economics of subscriptions (conversion, AOV, retention, LTV, ARPU, churn), and can turn a roadmap of products, capabilities, and optimizations into measurable revenue. You'll lead a high performing growth PM team and partner closely with marketing, payments, finance, and legal to grow revenue and strengthen retention. This is a Hybrid position located in New York, New York, Frisco, Texas or Newport Beach, CA. You will be required to be onsite on an as needed basis likely a few times a month. When you are not working onsite you will work from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance of New York, New York, Frisco, TX or Newport Beach, CA and are not offering relocation assistance. Position Details What You'll Own The full-funnel growth strategy across acquisition, conversion, monetization, and retention with clear, quantified targets each quarter. The end-to-end purchase experience across desktop and mobile web, desktop and mobile apps, retail channel, and the conversion rate it drives. Pricing & packaging - support testing and launching new plans and offers, and their impact on ARPU and take-rate. Subscriber retention and LTV, including renewal, payment method optimization, win-back, and monetization programs. The growth dashboard and KPI targets (conversion rate, revenue, ARPU, LTV, churn/retention, fraud reduction). The Growth team - its talent bar, experimentation maturity, and bench of future leaders. What You'll Do Set the growth strategy and translate it into a prioritized roadmap with measurable quarterly goals. Build and scale an experimentation engine - hypothesis, design, statistical rigor, and a fast learn-and-ship cadence of A/B tests. Optimize the purchase experience to maximize conversion and reduce friction across markets and devices. Design and run pricing, offer, and packaging tests that grow ARPU and take-rate without eroding conversion or retention. Drive retention and LTV through data-informed onsite and in-app interventions. Lead, mentor, and grow the team, raising the bar for talent and developing future leaders. Partner cross-functionally with eCommerce, marketing, payments, data, and finance to turn new capabilities and customer experiences into compounding commercial wins. Report results transparently to leadership and hold the team accountable to outcomes. What We're Looking For 10+ years in growth, product, monetization, or eCommerce, with 3+ years leading and developing teams. Proven track record growing a subscription or D2C eCommerce business - measurable impact on conversion, retention, and LTV. Deep fluency in subscription economics and metrics: revenue, LTV, ARPU, churn/retention cohorts, and customer segmentation. Hands-on experience building and running an experimentation program (A/B and multivariate testing) and making decisions from data. Strong command of pricing & packaging strategy and offer design for recurring revenue. Experience optimizing purchase and conversion flows, ideally across websites and apps across multiple geographies. Comfort working closely with engineering, payments, marketing/lifecycle, data, and finance.
