Quality Manager

About the Position We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to join our team in Shelton, CT. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control, ensuring our products meet the most stringent industrial standards and customer requirements. Experience in sheet metal environment a must. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year Shift: First Work Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM Education: Bachelors Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with standards like ISO 9001 and AS9100. Lead internal and external audits while coordinating all necessary corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Manage and mentor a professional team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians. Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, such as defect rates and customer complaints, to lead performance improvement initiatives. Work alongside Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain departments to resolve quality issues and enhance processes. Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis using methodologies like Six Sigma, FMEA, and the 5 Whys.
