Quality Manager

This role is hands-on and highly visible, requiring direct involvement in product inspections, root cause analysis, customer communication, and shop-floor problem solving. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and maintain the AS9100/ISO Quality Management System, ensuring audit readiness, compliance, and proper documentation control. Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections while ensuring calibration, inspection plans, and quality standards are followed. Drive root cause investigations, corrective actions, and resolution of internal and external non-conformance issues. Supervise quality staff, track KPIs, and lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects, scrap, and rework across manufacturing operations. Qualifications: 5–10+ years of aerospace quality experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role desirable. Knowledge of AS9100 quality system. Proficiency in QMS Management, AS9100, Root Cause Analysis. Ability to read and interpret basic manufacturing documents, purchase orders, job travelers, blueprints.
